Our fast-growing retail and e-commerce business is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our social media team. This role has a variety of responsibilities and required skills including (but not limited to):
- Create and execute the social media strategy for the company brand.
- Create, manage, and post content for Instagram, Facebook, and the websites.
- Caption social media posts and respond to comments and questions on posts.
- Plan and create content for email marketing and newsletters.
- Able to capture product by taking high quality photos.
- Keep track of company calendar to be aware of upcoming events and other important dates. Plan content around these events
- Manage company Dropbox. Upload photo gallery on website.
- Website upkeep and utilization of Shopify.
- Upload product photos to Shopify with product details.
- Be open and willing to assist in other areas of the business, as needed.
- Works efficiently and at a brisk pace in a fast-paced environment.
- Works independently for extended periods.
- Can change directions quickly without being overly flustered or bothered.
- Comfortable with pace and pressure of office environment and balancing priorities.
- Owning initiative and jumping into new tasks daily.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including active listening.
- Model excellent service and a neat and tidy appearance when in the store.
- Familiarity using POS systems.
- Extremely personable, positive, and approachable.
- Enthusiastic attitude in person and over the telephone.
- Able to work during the daytime, some Saturday’s and holiday availability.
- Versatility to move quickly on your feet up to 6-8 hours a day.
